LGBTQIA+ Insight Retreat

A silent mindfulness retreat for the LGBTQIA+ community, led by Francisco Morillo Gable, a member of the Queer and BIPOC community, alongside our guiding teacher, Gil Fronsdal.

This is an opportunity to come together in the safety of our community, embracing all of ourselves as we cultivate the wholesome and loving qualities of our hearts and minds.

There will be alternating sitting and walking meditation, instruction, dharma talks, work meditation, and practice discussion with the teachers.

Suitable for both beginners and experienced practitioners who self-identify as LGBTQIA+ or genderqueer.

The IMC leadership and the leaders of IMC's Rainbow sangha support Gil's co-teaching in this retreat.

Gil is a longtime LGBTQIA+ supporter, he is not a member of this community.

Francisco invited Gil to join the retreat so he can share his fifty years of experience as a practitioner, monk, scholar, and Dharma teacher in direct support of the LGBTQIA+ population.

Gil is looking forward to connecting more intimately with the LGBTQIA+ community to foster its growth and well being.
